But now WILL FERRELL and JOHN C. REILLY have done one for FunnyOrDie.com, and theirs is a shot-for-shot remake of the original video from 1977. Ferrell plays Bowie, and Reilly plays Bing Crosby.

And the only time they change the script is at the end, when they try to see who can hold the last note the longest.

I'm not sure how a mistake this bad happened on real TV: CNN was doing a story on the student protests in England, then set up a story about Democrats and Republicans fighting in Congress.

But instead of showing the political clip, they accidentally cut to the explosive diarrhea scene from "Dumb and Dumber".

When they cut back to correspondent Ali Velshi, he said, quote, "We didn't just put that on TV, did we?" CNN was planning to use the clip for a story about unusual treatments for digestive problems.

Whoever planned the Christmas parade in Richmond, Virginia this year screwed up big time. Because they failed to realize that their huge Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer balloon was too big to fit under the town's traffic lights.

And when they tried to go around the first one, the top of Rudolph's head got impaled on a pole. Then everyone watched as his entire face started deflating.

A 16-year-old cross country runner from San Francisco named Holland Reynolds collapsed just before crossing the finish line at a race last week. Then she crawled the last 15 feet to help her team win the state championship.

After the race, Holland was treated for dehydration and hypothermia, and the footage has become a huge hit on YouTube.

The local news crew on WGN 9 in Chicago was covering a story last week about a bridge being imploded. And they REALLY wanted to show it live.

They even talked about how they'd never shown a live implosion before, and they stayed on the shot for three or four minutes, just waiting. But then they cut away for ten seconds and missed it.

The best part was how the anchors reacted. All three of them yelled, "Are you kidding me!"

Over the weekend I found these guys on YouTube, The Marsh Brothers, Very talented guys, who do absolutely amazing hat tricks to stop motion break dancing, experimental music and more.

Now, when I saw the ‘MarshBros Hat Project’ the other day ... speachless. These guys were throwing hats through the air, bouncing them off walls, throwing curves and more and catching the hats on their heads like it was nothing. There had to be some kind of trick

--He stayed in character while showing off all his memorabilia and explaining that he has so much Harry Potter clothing, he can wear a new outfit every day for three months straight.

--And as if that wasn't enough, he also has J.K. ROWLING'S signature tattooed on his forearm.

A NY-based sketch comedy have created a parody with a purpose. It's their take on Travie McCoy’s ‘Billionaire’, called ‘A Billion Views’ with lyrics about viral videos stars and memes.

The goal, obviously, is to hit a billion views. It was uploaded on November 2 and so far it’s just short of 60,000 views

In the clip, no YouTube stone unturned, popular viral stars and memes make appearances in the background. From the Numa Numa guy to the girl that fell off the table, double rainbows, pants on the ground, Fred, Shane Dawson, Tay Zonday and from Antoine Dodsonthe.

The only question that remains to be answered is will they reach their goal of ‘A Billion Views’?

It’s pretty impressive that Willow Smith recorded ‘Whip My Hair’ at 10 years of age. But 7-year old rapper MattyB’s parody of her song is pretty impressive as well.

MattyB has been rapping and covering pop songs on YouTube since last May, doing all he can to be discovered, and he’s doing pretty well. His Bruno Mars ‘Just the Way You Are’ cover, dedicated to his 4-year old sister with special needs, has over 2 million views, and his Justin Bieber cover has almost as many. At just seven years old, this kid’s got talent.

JOHN MAYER and a bunch of other celebrities did a PSA for a charity called
Malaria No More, which provides mosquito nets for children in Africa to protect
them from the disease.

Malaria kills nearly one million people each year, and 85% of them are under 16.
That's why the ad's slogan is "Get them to Bieber".

The idea is that JUSTIN BIEBER is 16 years old, and if people donate money to
buy more mosquito nets, more children in Africa will at least live as long as he
has.

The kittens have a rare disease called "fainting goat syndrome" . . . which is clearly more common in goats . . . and when they get startled even a little bit, their muscles seize up and they collapse.

First of all, please don't try this. This guy obviously has experience and maybe just a little nuts.

Instead of carving his jack-o-lantern with a knife, this guy decided to do it by shooting out the eyes, nose, and mouth with a handgun from about five feet away. It took 38 shots, but it worked.

I prefer the "classic" or "traditional" jack-o-lantern, a few triangles and you're good.

--He's selling a crappy new product called the "Bear Scratch." It's basically a branch you mount on your wall, so you can scratch your back the way a bear rubs up against a tree. And the ad is just as annoying as you might think.

A skydiver from the 101st Airborne Division dropped into the game between Michigan and Michigan State last Saturday, and delivered the game ball to the referees.

--And yesterday, the University of Michigan released helmet cam footage of it.

--Michigan Stadium is the biggest stadium in the States, with an official capacity of just under 110,000.

--And the video has sound, which is cool because you can hear the crowd cheering when he gets close.

How to Handle Earl

A few years back I was living in downtown Halifax when Hurricane Juan hit as a category 1. I was NOT prepared and learned the hard way what I should have done to make the aftermath a little easier. While we might make out perfectly fine it's better to be prepared and only takes a little bit of effort but could REALLY make things easier if Earle does have a serious impact.

• Have lots of non-parishable food on hand... With power outages, your fridge doesnt work or your freezer! I was without power for over a week and mooched off of my neighbours once my frozen and fresh food couldnt be kept.
• Have lots of water on hand. Have bottled water for consumption but also fill your bathtub for flushing the toilet and washing.
• Get lit! Have flashlights, candles, matches and extra batteries on hand. It seems obvious but you don't want to be fumbling around in the dark trying to figure out where you left those batteries!
• Have extra cash on hand. ATM's won't be working in case of a power outage.
  
• Get gas. Both for your vehicle and fuel for your BBQ. We had to BBQ all of our frozen food before it spoiled so fill that tank!
• Clean up the yard. You would not believe the distance that things can fly with winds as strong as they are in tropical storms/hurricanes. During Juan there were roofs taken off of homes, GIANT trees displaced and power poles snapped like twigs so your lawn chairs don't stand a chance!
  
• Charge it. Have your cell phones charged up and have a car charger on hand. This may be your only way to communicate as your house phone may not have power or service.
• Listen to K100! Be sure to have a battery powered radio on hand and be listening for updates weather-wise and also for Emergency Measures Alerts which will be broadcasted through K100. Our news team is watching Earl 24hrs a day and we will be broadcasting live through the storm to keep you informed.

12 Ways To Beat The Heat Without An AC

1. Dress For Success - Wear cottons and other natural fabrics such as linen that breathe. Artificial fibers such as rayon and polyester will just turn you into your own oven, keeping all the hot air you're omitting inside your clothes (gross!).
I have been boycotting pants all week... Think sundresses or other loose fititng options. Perfect excuse for a Muumuu

2. Strip! - Not for an audience (unless you'd like one, wink!) but while you're home peel off the layers and chill out in your underwear or bathing suit. Not only does this lower your body temperature but it is also good for your body image! Studies show the more time you spend with your clothes off, the more comfortable you are in your skin.
I have been using this tip, although I am not so sure my roomate is appreciating it...I am definately hoping he doesnt use it.

3. Get Down Girl, Go 'Head Get Down - to the lowest point of your house! Hot air rises so hang out downstairs or better yet, a basement if possible.
Since I am using the previous tip and my roomate lives downstairs I have NOT done this.

4. Minty Fresh - Use products with menthol properties like lotions or soap. Aside from leaving your skin totally refreshed, it also leaves a great cooling and soothing sensation.

5. Freeze It - Grab a washcloth, wet it down and, you guessed it, throw it in the freezer! Then do as you will with it all over your hot bod! Another awesome trick with your freezer if you have a fan is to freeze a couple two liter bottles of water and put them in front of your fan. As the ice melts, the air around the bottles will get colder and the fan will blow it your way.
I actually used the frozen facecloth tip when my puppy was teething as a toy for her. It could be used for pets no matter what age as something to cool them down. Imagine how hot they are with all that fur!

6. Pull Down Your Shades - Seems simple enough but sometimes we forget that enjoying the natural light is also bringing a lot of heat into our homes. Also, keep your house tightly sealed to keep the cool air inside.
If you use tip number 2, this is a good one to use in conjunction...

7. Rub It Out - Put some rubbing alcohol on your face (avoid eyes & mouths, of course, kids) and it will make you feel about thirty degrees cooler when standing in front of moving air.
This may be effective, but I'm not too sure I want to try it.

8. Cool As A Cucumber - Slice thin, cold cucumber slices and place them on your face. There's a reason they do it as a part of those fancy spa treatments- not only does it cool you down, it feels fantastic!

9. Save Energy - Turn off all unnecessary lighting and electronics. Most internal heating is caused by appliances and incandescent lighting. Minimize your day-time laundry and dish doing (take this time to take a nap with some cucumbers, wink!).
A perfect excuse not to do housework and just get takeout!

10. Eat & Drink Cold - Eat lots of fruit and drink plenty of water! Not only will you be staying cool but you'll be contributing to your healthy diet!
Try freezing fruit as a healthy, cool treat as well... Frozen grapes are the best!

11. Avoid Caffeine & Alcohol - Both will raise your your body temperature.

12. Be An Early Bird - The coolest hours are in the morning so if you can start your day earlier, you should!
