JayTube - Wednesday, October 20th

A cinematographer from Brooklyn and his 7-year-old son successfully sent a weather balloon 100,000 feet up into space, and they attached an iPhone to capture video of it.

When the balloon popped, the iPhone fell back to Earth attached to a parachute. And because it has GPS, they were able to find it in the middle of the night 30 miles away from where they launched it.
