A student at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles has become a viral video star after creating a new kind of instrument from some P-V-C pipe and turning in a brilliant performance for his classmates.

It was put on YouTube just a week a go and it has just under a million views already.

Last week a group called The Annoying Orange kicked off a week of YouTube parodies, based upon fan votes.

The viral videos that got the most votes were parodied and released, one per day.

BETTY WHITE got to host "Saturday Night Live" this year after fans started a campaign on the Internet. And now COOKIE MONSTER from "Sesame Street" is doing the same thing.

There's a new video on YouTube where he says he wants to host and makes his case by showing an "audition tape".

The People’s Choice Awards will be honoring viral videos this year with a new award . This is great not only because it’s taking viral videos into the mainstream, but also because it’s the first time a non-celebrity will receive a People’s Choice Award.
So today on JayTube . . . The nominees.
I’m pretty sure the Double Rainbow guy is going to take it, but who knows. Maybe it will be Greyson Chance, or one of the other nominees. What do you think?

JayTube - Tuesday, November 23

The local news crew on WGN 9 in Chicago was covering a story last week about a bridge being imploded. And they REALLY wanted to show it live.

They even talked about how they'd never shown a live implosion before, and they stayed on the shot for three or four minutes, just waiting. But then they cut away for ten seconds and missed it.

The best part was how the anchors reacted. All three of them yelled, "Are you kidding me!"

Over the weekend I found these guys on YouTube, The Marsh Brothers, Very talented guys, who do absolutely amazing hat tricks to stop motion break dancing, experimental music and more.

Now, when I saw the ‘MarshBros Hat Project’ the other day ... speachless. These guys were throwing hats through the air, bouncing them off walls, throwing curves and more and catching the hats on their heads like it was nothing. There had to be some kind of trick

The brothers write this in the video’s description, regarding comments claiming the video is fake:

“For those claiming that this is fake or asking if we’ve used special effects of some kind in this video – NO we haven’t. It was just two evenings of tedious trial and error! "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1" came out at midnight last night, and the cast was on MTV the other day to promote the movie.

And since they're all British, the host made them say random things with an American accent, like "Can I get an order of mozzarella sticks" . . . "Justin Bieber is the man" . . . and "Twilight blows."

Moviefone.com is trying to find the biggest Harry Potter fan . . . and I'm pretty sure they did. Contestants had to submit a video explaining why they're the biggest fan, and one guy did his entire video AS Harry Potter.

--He stayed in character while showing off all his memorabilia and explaining that he has so much Harry Potter clothing, he can wear a new outfit every day for three months straight.

--And as if that wasn't enough, he also has J.K. ROWLING'S signature tattooed on his forearm.

So, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never hits theaters in February. A trailer for another movie about JUSTIN BIEBER hit the Internet over the weekend.
It's called "8 Kilometers" . . . get it?

That's a play on the title of the EMINEM movie, "8 Mile" . . . only changed to the metric system ... Justin is Canadian . . . funny stuff.

A NY-based sketch comedy have created a parody with a purpose. It's their take on Travie McCoy’s ‘Billionaire’, called ‘A Billion Views’ with lyrics about viral videos stars and memes.

The goal, obviously, is to hit a billion views. It was uploaded on November 2 and so far it’s just short of 60,000 views

In the clip, no YouTube stone unturned, popular viral stars and memes make appearances in the background. From the Numa Numa guy to the girl that fell off the table, double rainbows, pants on the ground, Fred, Shane Dawson, Tay Zonday and from Antoine Dodsonthe.

The only question that remains to be answered is will they reach their goal of ‘A Billion Views’?

Three developers from Austria have built an awesome new product called Table Connect for iPhone They demo the product—a huge table with a touch-screen top that you can plug your iPhone into and control the phone on a much, much larger screen.

It’s pretty impressive that Willow Smith recorded ‘Whip My Hair’ at 10 years of age. But 7-year old rapper MattyB’s parody of her song is pretty impressive as well.

MattyB has been rapping and covering pop songs on YouTube since last May, doing all he can to be discovered, and he’s doing pretty well. His Bruno Mars ‘Just the Way You Are’ cover, dedicated to his 4-year old sister with special needs, has over 2 million views, and his Justin Bieber cover has almost as many. At just seven years old, this kid’s got talent.

JOHN MAYER and a bunch of other celebrities did a PSA for a charity called
Malaria No More, which provides mosquito nets for children in Africa to protect
them from the disease.

Malaria kills nearly one million people each year, and 85% of them are under 16.
That's why the ad's slogan is "Get them to Bieber".

The idea is that JUSTIN BIEBER is 16 years old, and if people donate money to
buy more mosquito nets, more children in Africa will at least live as long as he
has.

The new promo for the "American Music Awards" shows two bikers in a bar arguing over whether to listen to KATY PERRY or KESHA. Then another biker pushes them aside and puts on JUSTIN BIEBER instead.

The rest of the ad features all the bikers in the bar dancing along to the Bieber song "Baby".

For Halloween this year, a 7-year-old kid in Texas named Liam Roybal decided to go as RON WASHINGTON . . . the BALD coach of the Texas Rangers. And Liam went ALL OUT. His parents even let him shave the top of his head so he'd look bald.

--The costume was so good, a local news station did a story on it, and it got Liam invited to last night's World Series game in Arlington.
